We pay competitive prices for ferrous and non ferrous scrap metals including scrap cars, alloy wheels, batteries, engines, aluminium, iron, steel, tin and zinc. Scrap metal merchant services include ELV (end of life vehicle) depollution, factory clearance, total waste management, container, plant and skip hire, abandoned car and scrap metal collections. Our scrap metal recycling facilities include an ATF (authorised treatment facility) for depolluting scrap cars, drive on weighbridges, a railway terminus for recycled metal transportation, gas cutting equipment for dismantling scrap machinery and plant, metal cuttings shears and a baler for compressing scrap metal. Sims Metal, Smethwick is located on three sites in Smethwick, West Midlands. Formerly All Metal Recovery (AMR), the three scrap yards are now part of the world’s largest metal recycling company, with over 200 recycling centres worldwide. The three Smethwick metal recycling centres are conveniently situated between the main A41 Birmingham – West Bromwich road and A457 Birmingham – Dudley road for easy access from businesses located in Sandwell and West Birmingham.
